Class of 2012 Graduation...

Last Day of School...

On the Homestretch Now...

I can't believe how quickly this year has gone by.  We still have plenty to do in every class and attendance and attention is as important now as it has ever been!  Do not let "senioritis" (or "junioritis" or "sophomoritis"!) have a negative effect on your grade!

I am a 2000 graduate of Dickson County High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin.  I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences.  Since graduating from college, I  worked for the University of Tennessee Extension in Cheatham County and taught one year at Hickman County High School before coming back HOME to teach in the fall of 2008.  I could not be happier to work at the school that shaped me into who I am today.

I am a proud wife and mother.  My husband, Jimmy, teaches in the Science department at DCHS.  We have a two-year-old daughter, Ella.

I hope this page will be a resource for my students as well as their parents and other stakeholders in the community.  On the lefthand side of this page you will find links to pages for my general classroom rules and procedures as well as information and resources for the specific courses I teach.  I hope you will check back often to see what is going on in the FACS department!
